It’s finally here! Downtown In December, presented by Devon Energy, has arrived, bringing more than 30 events and attractions for all ages to downtown Oklahoma City! From the lighting of the Bricktown Christmas Tree to ice skating, seasonal shopping, and family-friendly activities, the series transforms downtown Oklahoma City into the premier winter destination.

Celebrate the Magic of the Season at these Downtown OKC Premier Holiday Events
The Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival
Kick off the season at the 24th Annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival, presented by Global Payments, on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Mickey Mantle Plaza in Bricktown! The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of live performances celebrating the diverse cultures and traditions of our community, leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the tree by Mayor David Holt at 6:00 PM.
This free, family-friendly event features fun activities, including photos with Santa courtesy of Inasmuch Foundation, Letters to Santa by Communication Federal Credit Union, and so much more!
Grab snacks, free samples, and bites from local restaurants while enjoying festive performances and activities. The Bricktown Christmas Tree, powered by OG&E and made possible by Painted Door, will shine brightly in Bricktown through New Year’s Day.
LIGHTS ON BROADWAY
Cruise down historic Automobile Alley for the district’s holiday open house and enjoy the dazzling light displays at the Annual Lights On Broadway on three Saturdays this season, November 29th, December 6th, and 13th from 4-7 PM.
Retail shops and restaurants on Broadway Avenue and side streets will feature merry window displays, activities for all ages, special promotions, and giveaways.
There’s free family-friendly fun for all with live performers, a Magic Elf, and more. Photos with Santa sponsored by amshot will occur every Saturday from 4 -6 PM. Don’t miss this tradition in one of OKC’s most vibrant districts!
Saints Santa Run, presented by SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital
Grab your costumes and running shoes for the Saints Santa Run on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at 9 AM!
This family-friendly holiday run brings all ages and pets to downtown Oklahoma City for a festive 5K, 1-mile Fun Run, and a free Kids’ Dash – a great way to stay active and spread holiday cheer this season.
The start/finish line will be a celebration with face painting, music, and more. Don’t forget to dress in your best holiday costume for a chance to win cash prizes in the costume contest!
SANTA PAWS
Get ready for the return of Merry Midtown’s Santa Paws photo op on Sunday, November 23, from 1-3 PM!

The Devon Ice Rink is back for its 14th season at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, open from November 14, 2025 – February 1, 2026.

Downtown OKC is filled with beautiful light displays to enjoy throughout the holiday season, from November to January.

SPARKLE AT SCISSORTAIL PARK
From November 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026, Scissortail Park will shine with light, magic, and festive cheer at the all-new SPARKLE Holiday Walk at Scissortail Park.
The ticketed experience invites guests of all ages to stroll through the Park and explore a dazzling display of holiday lights, whimsical vignettes, and sparkling scenes that celebrate the spirit of the season.
On select Friday evenings, guests can also enjoy SPARKLE Holiday Markets, featuring local vendors, seasonal treats, warm beverages, and handmade gifts—perfect for holiday shopping in a festive outdoor setting.
Miracle At Social Capital
Step into Miracle at Social Capital, a holiday takeover of a downtown favorite, Social Capital (517 S. Hudson Ave), from November 18th to December 31st.
With fun decor and a nostalgic atmosphere, it’s a must-visit spot to celebrate the season. With expertly crafted, festively themed cocktails, this experience is perfect for holiday parties and celebrations.

Red Earth Treefest
Experience the beauty and culture of Oklahoma’s Native tribes at the Annual Red Earth Treefest at the Red Earth Art Center in the lobby of the BancFirst Tower.
This popular holiday tradition for families is a free exhibit showcasing trees decorated with handcrafted ornaments that represent the unique traditions of each Tribal Nation.
The exhibit is open November 13th – December 31st, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and visitors can also shop for artisan gifts and ornaments. Don’t miss this celebration of culture and creativity!
