Celebrate the Magic of the Season at these Downtown OKC Premier Holiday Events
The Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival
Kick off the season at the 23rd Annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival, presented by Heartland, on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, from 5:30-8:00 PM at Mickey Mantle Plaza in Bricktown!
This free, family-friendly event features fun activities like photos with Santa by Inasmuch Foundation, Letters to Santa by Communication Federal Credit Union, face painting, OKC Thunder entertainers, diverse programming, and a life-size snow globe.
Grab snacks, free samples, and bites from local restaurants, plus the main event, the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor David Holt at 6:00 PM. The tree will shine brightly in Bricktown through New Year’s Day.
Lights On Broadway
Experience the magic of the season at the 9th Annual Lights On Broadway in the historic Automobile Alley! On November 30, December 7, and 14 from 4-7 PM, see the light displays along the street, window decorations, and special promotions at local shops and restaurants.
There’s family-friendly fun for all with live music, balloon art, photos with Santa (in his classic 1929 Mercedes Benz!), and more. Don’t miss this tradition in one of OKC’s most vibrant districts!
Saint’s Santa Run, presented by SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital
Grab your costumes and running shoes for the Saints Santa Run on Saturday, December 7th, 2024! This family-friendly event features a festive 5K Run/Walk, a 1-mile Fun Run, and a free Kids’ Dash.

The Devon Ice Rink is back for its 13th season at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, open from November 15, 2024 – February 2, 2025.
