Automobile Alley’s 25th Annual Chocolate Decadence
The Historic Automobile Alley will celebrate the 25th annual Chocolate Decadence, a fan-favorite fundraising event hosted by the Automobile Alley Association. Taking place at Leadership Square on Thursday, February 2, this 21+ event encourages attendees to dress in their best cocktail or business attire while enjoying tastings of both sweet and savory chocolate culinary delights created by restaurants in Automobile Alley and throughout downtown.
Guests should be sure and try as many dishes and creations as possible in order to place their vote for which restaurant they believe deserves the coveted People’s Choice Award. Each dish will pair well with the free wine and champagne offered. However, if attendees would like a more crafted spirit, they are welcome to visit the cocktail cash bar. Beyond delectable sweets, the evening will also include entertainment such as one-of-a-kind auction and raffle items along with live music and entertainment performances by Take Cover and World On A String Quartet.
Participating restaurants that will not only be providing the food for the evening, but also competing to win the Best of Show and People’s Choice awards are Bad Nonna’s Pasta, Broadway 10 Bart & Chophouse, Café Cuvee, Café Disco, Harvey Bakery, Hideaway Pizza, Kamps 1910 Café, Katiebug’s Sips & Sweets, The Melting Pot, Plan, Red Prime Steak, Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, Flamingo Tiki, and Rodizio Grill. Additionally, beer will be provided by Auto Alley brewers Prairies Artisan Ales, Skydance, Brewing, and Vanessa House Beer Co, and coffee will also be available from Junction Coffee.
Both General Admission and VIP tickets are available for purchase. General Admission tickets include access to each of the tasting dishes, wine & champagne, raffle & silent auction bidding, and coat check for $75. VIP tickets includes access to everything previously mentioned in addition to a separate VIP check-in, VIP garage parking, exclusive Auto Alley swag bag, and (2) tickets to the cocktail cash bar.
All proceeds go directly to the Automobile Alley Association, to continue the beloved Lights On Broadway holiday event and light display and support neon sign grants, street amenities, public art, and more. As an overview, Automobile Alley was able to use last year’s fundraised dollars to add 40,000 new LED lights to the Lights On Broadway display, add new murals to Automobile Alley’s Door Tour, and produce Art of Beer in partnership with Oklahoma Contemporary. Additionally, Automobile Alley Association is working with City of OKC’s Better Streets, Safer Cities initiative to create more parking and increase pedestrian safety along Broadway.
