The Study Presents a “Poe Up”: A night of wine, cocktails, and Edgar Allen Poe
Do you like Edgar Allan Poe? Do you like cocktails? Do you like wine? Do you want to see Owner/Sommelier Ian Bennett put his theater degree to good use with some dramatic (ish) readings from a fancy hardcover edition of Poe’s Short Stories and Poems? If you said “Yes” (or even “Maybe”) to any of these, then you need to tap that button and grab a ticket for a night of literary fun and libations!
In partnership with Barkeep, we’re offering two glasses of wine and two cocktails expertly paired with selections from Poe’s works while Ian gives his most dramatic (perhaps overly dramatic) interpretations. Expect a short story about waking up a mummy that’s not too impressed with your knowledge of Egyptian history, and a few moody poems to set the scene. Period clothing is encouraged, but not required—just come ready for a unique night out.
