In 2012, Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership partnered with the Kirkpatrick Foundation and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to install an outdoor basketball court that is free and open to the public. The court is maintained by the Downtown Business Improvement District.
In 2023, over 10 years later, and with the support of the Thunder Community Foundation, this beloved public court has received a fresh makeover, and for the first time, it boasts a vibrant design on the court surface from @okiedust & @tonythunder_art inspired by the unique spirit of OKC.
The court is located at Reno and Hudson in downtown Oklahoma City, and is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days per week. To reserve the court for special events or tournaments, contact DOKC at (405) 235-3500.
