Experience the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum through stories from those impacted by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Hear personal accounts from Sue Hale, an assistant managing editor for The Oklahoman newspaper in 1995. She was the first female to hold that position for the paper, part of a legendary 50+ year career in journalism that included the general manager of the first online version of The Oklahoman and the position in which she ended her newspaper career in 2008, executive editor of The Oklahoman. Not only did Sue help lead a newsroom covering the bombing, she also was chairman of volunteers for the Red Cross during the response and helped with the writing of the Museum that opened in 2001. Hale will lead a private tour before the Museum opens and curators will take you on a behind the scenes look in the Archives. Free parking in the Memorial Parking Garage with paid Museum admission. Tickets are limited, purchase at MemorialMuseum.com/events.
