SUMMARY:STEM Summer Series Forensic Science Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum
DESCRIPTION:Explore how science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) were critical in the rescue\, recovery\, investigation and healing in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing. Bring the entire family (parents/guardians are free) or drop off your students with Museum Educators for three hours of impactful lessons on forensic science. In the Inasmuch Uncover-Discover STEM Lab\, students sort through real artifacts following the trail of evidence to convict the perpetrators of the OKC bombing. Will also learn techniques used in the field with instructors from the UCO Forensic Science Institute. Day of visit to the Memorial Museum is free with STEM Series admission.

DESCRIPTION:Explore the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum through stories of those most impacted by the April 19\, 1995\, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Richard Williams\, former District Manager for the General Services Administration\, will lead a private after-hours tour of the Museum. On April 19\, Richard was in his office on the first floor of the federal building and was severely injured. After recovery\, he became very involved in the memorialization process and was on numerous committees for building the Memorial and Museum. Immediately following the tour\, Museum curators will take you on a behind the scene look in the archives. Free parking in the Memorial Parking garage with paid admission. MemorialMuseum.com
