Working Mom Summit 2020
January 10, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We believe you’re great at your job because you’re a mom, not in spite of it. If you agree, Working Mom Summit is for you. Mark your calendar for January 10 & 11 and plan for a weekend of growth and connection.
6-8 p.m. Friday Night: Kickoff Party & Mom Shop
Sponsored by LifeSquire
We’re launching this weekend of learning with a celebration of everything you. Yes, you’re a mother/boss/sister/employee/daughter but we want to celebrate you as an individual. Enjoy champagne and light bites while you shop some of our favorite mom-owned businesses:
8:30 a.m.- breakfast and coffee
9 a.m. Keynote from Jenna Worthen: Starting Again
10 a.m. Panel Discussion: Maintaining Passions as a Mom
Women are naturally nurturing, something that makes us great mothers. But the downside to accommodating the needs of everyone else is that sometimes we forget to nurture our own interests and passions. Panelists Linda Vater, Lindsay Zodrow & Trang Green will discuss how they’ve navigated work and family while also holding space for the things that inspire them as individuals.
11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch and Pick Your Panel
Work for the Single Mom: As if motherhood didn’t carry enough complications, navigating them alone is exhausting. Let panelists Chelsey Ann, Risa RJ Johnson and Aubrey Rich talk you through their personal experiences with juggling work and parenthood as single mothers.
Work for the Married Mom: If you’ve ever felt so overwhelmed with worth and kids that your role as spouse seems to fall by the wayside, you’re not alone. Simi John, Hilary Stevenson, LPC and Jordan Hobbs Park will discuss strategies for approaching your role as a wife with compassion and wisdom while also juggling motherhood and work.
12:30-1:30 p.m. Panel Discussion: Resume Gaps Through Motherhood
There’s no one right way to approach the schedule of working as a mom. Some moms leave the workforce entirely for years while others seem to never even take maternity leave. Panelists Deisy Mendoza, Pinkey Patel and Jessi Moore will discuss their personal decisions with working through motherhood and how they’ve chosen when to focus more on work and when they’ve stepped back for family.
1:30-3 p.m. Breakouts: Choose one of these engaging opportunities to learn in a small group setting

Enneagram for Moms with Hilary Stevenson, LPC

Continue to make connections and take a little more time to yourself. We’ll have some fun things planned to help you relax and unwind after a day of focus and growth.
