OK City Opera and OU Opera present a two-part show featuring the one act opera “The Face on the Barroom Floor” (Mollicone & Bowman) plus fun, entertaining operatic drinking songs.
An American opera set in a bar, experienced in an actual bar!
This show is fully immersive, with the story unfolding around you while you sip your cider: the bartender tells a tale, the floor holds a mystery, and you’re right there as past and present play out simultaneously. It’s opera, but not like you’ve seen it before.
