David Tromblay served in both the United States Army and Navy before he earned an MFA in Creative Writing. His memoir “As You Were” was named one of the best Nonfiction books of 2021 by Kirkus Reviews. After retiring from the military he worked as a medical courier, which inspired the novel “The Essentials. ” He now lives in rural eastern OK with giant dogs and tiny goats in the midst of his ever-growing gardens and permaculture food forest.
