Design and make your own jewelry in 1 day utilizing concho and shot plate sets! Learn how to accurately measure metal for the best results with this tool/technique as well as how to properly anneal and press the metal. This class introduces basic metalsmithing techniques, such as sawing, soldering and stone setting. In 6 hours (10a-4p), you will work with sterling silver while strengthening your design and fabrication skills. By the end of class, you will have completed 1-2 projects (student’s choice of rings, pendants &/or wrist cuffs). This is great for a beginner with no metalsmithing skills, anyone who might need a refresher of the basics or someone interested in concho/shot plate designs. ($275 Class + Materials $50-150 plus tax)

Prerequisite: No Experience Needed, must be over the age of 18
Tools: Provided; If you have your own tools that you prefer, you are welcome to bring them
Materials: Approximate cost of materials (metal & stones) is $50-150 plus tax and will be purchased during class. If you’d like to bring your own materials, you’re more than welcome to. The Studio has a wide variety to select from otherwise.
Lunch: There will be a 30 minute lunch break permitted during a 2 hour timeframe given to students for self paced work time to complete projects
