Art Hop Featuring Keri Smith

Join Core4 Brewing Friday February 24th for the Fourth Friday Art Hop Series

This month they are featuring local artist Keri Smith.Keri Smith is an Oklahoma-born artist based in Oklahoma City. Keri received her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Arizona State University. She has worked for nearly ten years in the Oklahoma public sector, including institutions such as the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City campus, and the Museum of Osteology-Skulls Unlimited International. She is currently the Programs and Exhibitions Manager at the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition.

As an artist, Keri works primarily in watercolor paint but occasionally in other media. Her inspiration comes from ordinary things we find in our everyday lives, particularly around Oklahoma. There is a special joy in encountering small, lovely things–often when we aren’t looking for them– like vintage fishing lures, thrifted glassware, and fuzzy moths

Whoopie Wagon Food Truck will be on-site from 6-9 for dinner.
