DESCRIPTION:Tickets $15 in advance / $20 Day of Show \nAll Ages \nDoors at 8:00 / Show at 8:30 \nGaining widespread recognition for his soulful vocals and virtuosic classical-harp playing\, Calvin Arsenia is a singer\, songwriter\, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Kansas City\, Missouri. In addition to his solo work\, Arsenia has collaborated with a variety of artists across different media including film and television and has performed at numerous festivals and venues around the world. He is known for his heartfelt and introspective lyrics\, which often touch on themes of love\, loss\, and personal growth. Arsenia’s music has been described as a blend of folk\, pop\, and R&B\, and he continues use his gift of music to draw bridges between communities separated by race\, class\, gender\, or religion. \nPoet Meg Carlile and Movement Artist\, Morgan Smith will perform a collaborative piece. \nMeg Carlile is a lover of language of love. Growing up with extreme religious roots\, she centers her core beliefs around love and human empowerment. She provides a space for herself and others to feel the vastness of the human experience under a light of grand optimism. \nMorgan Smith is a performance artist originally from OKC with a BFA in Dance Performance from Webster University. She has been a professional performer for the past 8 years\, working independently as well as with companies such as Gramo Danse\, Perpetual Motion Dance\, Inspyral Circus\, Factory Obscura\, and is a feat. dancer with local band\, stepmom. She utilizes dance and circus arts in her creations as a means to relay her inner universe to the outside world. She is most interested in connecting with her audiences by breaking down the proverbial “fourth wall” through intimate and interactive displays of vulnerability. \nExperimental harpist\, Moriah Bailey\, will open the show. \nMoriah Bailey (fka sun riah) is a songwriter who creates intimate and vulnerable sound worlds using primarily harp\, voice\, and effects pedals. Much of Bailey’s approach to the harp – looping\, layering\, playing with ambiance\, dissonance\, and noise – has implicitly challenged many assumptions about her instrument. She at times plays solo and at other times is joined by a phenomenal ensemble of musicians. Paste Magazine describes Bailey’s music as showcasing “masterful minimalism and operatic vocals.” Her songs are delicate and tender\, defiant and strong\, and they provide space to dwell on and sit with emotions.

SUMMARY:Saddle Ring Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Saddle Ring is a wide band ring with an open back making the sizing comfortable and slightly adjustable. The design will vary based off what the student decides to incorporate\, from styles of wire for the border\, to the small gemstone cabochons\, to the hand stamped details. The end result is a stunning statement piece you’ll be proud to wear everyday! \nHand forge a sterling silver saddle ring with 1-2 small gemstone cabochons from Studio collection in 5 hours. This 1 day workshop is a great start to familiarize yourself with the metalsmithing tools and techniques needed to create sterling silver jewelry. It’s also a ton of fun and can simply be a great experience!  \nCost: $150 Workshop + Materials $50-150 plus tax \nTechniques: stamping\, ring sizing\, forming\, soldering\, bezel creation\, filing\, sanding\, stone setting\, and patina \nPrerequisite: No Experience Needed\, Beginner Friendly\, Ages 8-17 must be accompanied by adult \nTools: Provided \nMaterials: Pick from a large collection of stones and silver to customize your ring design to your liking. Stories include: \n… the mysterious first death following the Land Run of 1889 and ghosts of Bricktown\, \n… hidden tunnels where people were said to born\, live\, and die without ever seeing the sun\, \n… and the most haunted hotel in Oklahoma! \nOur walk will meet at the northeast corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma Ave (across from Bricktown Brewery) about 15 minutes before start times to get folks checked in. Each tour will last 80 to 90 minutes. Our route is all outdoors and follows public sidewalks\, so it should be wheelchair accessible. Masking and vaccination are suggested. \nEach guest receives a commemorative glow-in-the-dark wristband. Tickets are $13\, which are available in the link above. \nThis isn’t a “jump-and-scare” tour like a haunted house nor an investigation; it is a storytelling walk telling true tales researched from interviews and public archives.
