SUMMARY:The Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival
DESCRIPTION:Kick off the holiday season and Downtown in December at the 25th annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival presented by Global Payments! One of the season’s most anticipated events\, the festival will take place in Bricktown on Thursday\, November 12th\, 2026\, from 5:30-7:30pm on the Mickey Mantle Plaza of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. \nThe free festival will include family-friendly activities such as photos with Santa Claus sponsored by Inasmuch Foundation\, face painting\, live entertainment\, and more. Bring your kiddos to the Letters to Santa station sponsored by Communication Federal Credit Union\, where they can write and place their letters to Santa in our North Pole mailbox\, as well as decorate downtown-themed holiday postcards to take home or mail. There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy\, from Junction Coffee hot drinks for purchase to free samples and bites from downtown restaurants. The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor David Holt. \nThe Bricktown Christmas Tree Powered by OG&E will be lit at 6:00pm and will be on display through New Year’s Day.
