DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening reception of “Through the Lens of Time: A Glimpse Through the Pittsburgh Photography Club Archives” on July 9th 2025 from 5pm -7pm. The Pittsburgh Photography Club is celebrating its 140th Anniversary. In recognition of this milestone\, the Greene Gallery is hosting a show of selected photographs in chronological order\, including a 1908 reproduction print of “The Arbor” by Charles K. Arthur.\nThe Pittsburgh Photography Club owns a collection of approximately 750 prints dating back to 1908. They finalized an agreement with the Library of Congress in 2025\, wherein the club will donate the bulk of their archive for inclusion into the Library of Congress’ historic photography archive.\nThe images will be on display at the Greene Gallery from July 9th to September 21st 2025. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.
