DESCRIPTION:Catch live music at Factory Obscura as part our SPRING BREAK STOPOVER\, a line-up of national and international touring artists stopping in OKC on their way to SXSW! \nMultidisciplinarity is central to Annie-Claude Deschênes’ creative process\, as she seeks to unite music and performance art by challenging conventional stage presence. A prominent figure in Montreal’s independent music scene for nearly twenty years\, she has made her mark with bands like Duchess Says and PyPy\, known for their electrifying performances and artistic sensibility. Her solo project marks a shift from frustration and aggression to introspection and vulnerability\, as she explores and reinvents herself. Her debut solo album\, LES MANIÈRES DE TABLE\, draws inspiration from minimal pop and electronic music pioneers. It is both danceable and melodic\, yet disquieting and dystopian\, aiming to challenge the social codes of politeness. \nheartspace is the music project of singer-songwriter Madelyn Amacher\, an Oklahoma-based artist whose music is rooted in emotional vulnerability and self-expression. Since launching the project in 2020\, heartspace has released seven singles\, each one an honest reflection of the artist’s inner world and a testament to the power of music as a tool for emotional healing and connection. For heartspace\, music isn’t just a craft—it’s a way to untangle and make sense of the emotions that life throws at us. Her lyrics are deeply personal\, but also universal\, inviting listeners to find their own truths in the songs. With the motto “feel more\,” heartspace hopes to foster an environment where others can feel it all. Having often felt like she was “too much” in a world that encourages restraint\, music allows her to embrace this intensity as her superpower.

The Pittsburgh Photography Club is celebrating its 140th Anniversary. In recognition of this milestone\, the Greene Gallery is hosting a show of selected photographs in chronological order\, including a 1908 reproduction print of “The Arbor” by Charles K. Arthur.\nThe Pittsburgh Photography Club owns a collection of approximately 750 prints dating back to 1908. They finalized an agreement with the Library of Congress in 2025\, wherein the club will donate the bulk of their archive for inclusion into the Library of Congress’ historic photography archive.\nThe images will be on display at the Greene Gallery from July 9th to September 21st 2025. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.
